Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco artist. She has been a part of the fringes of traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she also delves into other genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and well-known musician, has described the sound of the young singer as sweet and sharp but with bite. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial hit. The album topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. It featured collaborations with fellow artists and producers, including Cory Henry. It was released in 2022, as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. Motomami was the only female ever to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year twice, and also three Latin Grammy Awards.
