Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio is an American actress. Maggie Grace is most well-known for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills in ABC's Lost television show. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington from Ohio dropped out of high school and moved in Los Angeles after her divorced parents. She landed her debut role as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. Her performance as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV film Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress in Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004 she received the Screen Actors Guild Award with all of the ensemble. Grace was keen to pursue film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. Grace has been on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 as well as in Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Her role was reprised for Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace performed the role of Shannon again in Lost's finale and in two additional episodes. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the 6th Season. She portrays Faith as a groupie, and also a model for the stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. Gyllenhaal is a member of her family and is the elder sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first roles were in the films of her father when he was an adolescent. With her brother, she also appeared as a character in Donnie Darko (2000). Her next appearance was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received acclaim from critics for her performances as the lead in the erotic romantic comedy drama Secretary (2002) and the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) both of which resulted in the Golden Globe Award nomination. Following several commercially-successful films, such as World Trade Center in 2006 her fame grew when she played Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). She was nominated to win an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Crazy Heart, (2009). The roles she played in subsequent films include Nanny McPhee as well as in the Big Bang and Hysteria. Some of her other roles are as an agent for the Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared as a singer in Frank 2014 and as a singer the role of a teacher in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the title character. Gyllenhaal's debut as a filmmaker and writer was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psychological thriller that won her an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. In addition, she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
