Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It reached the top 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina the next year. He appeared later in 2021 as a duo with TINI on her streaming hit song Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was a member of the musical home of his family. Both his younger brother and his mother are both musicians. In interviews, Turizo said that music is an essential part of his life.
